How you found EDG Group and why you chose to use them
EDG were already engaged in various areas within the business. After some initial discussions, it became clear that EDG understood the requirements and could implement a schedule and programme that would deliver what was required.
On this basis EDG were given the task of staffing and implementing an improved maintenance schedule. This included the correct technically skilled maintenance staff and concise scheduling that allowed the areas suffering from lack of maintenance to be brought in line with the needs of the business to improve machine overall availability and reduce non-scheduled downtime.

With the implementation of a dynamic maintenance schedule and the addition of staff with the skill sets both technically and with strong work ethic uptime and machine efficiency has improved beyond expectations.
Considerable KPI data tracking and the focus on key improvement areas being monitored which has allowed us to see true results in both prevention of failures and improvements in the quality of the finished product.
